Ponds Age Miracle Daily Resurfacing Day Cream with SPF 15 PA ++ Review

I tried Night Cream in Ponds Age miracle range. Though for me 30+ factor was the only concern but soon I got over it with the results I got.

This prompted me to try out Ponds Daily Resurfacing Cream with SPF 15 PA++ from the same range. Now almost two months into usage, here is my say on it.

Packaging of this product is strikingly similar to their Night Cream. Both look same unless you read the information on the carton. It is lightly scented, has also got sun protection i.e SPF 15 PA++, so here as well this product scores. Cream is light pink colored , and  immediately gets absorbed in the skin after the application.

I did a bit of Research on basic components of  Ponds Age Miracle Trademarked CLA4 Complex Technology. Lets take them one by one.

1.       CLA - Conjugated Linoleic acid is  majorly used is in treatment of cellulite but it is also used for treating skin conditions such as  wrinkling, sagging, photo damaged skin, sensitive skin, dry skin, flaky skin, red skin, irritated skin, itchy skin and age spots

2.       AHA -  Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), are a class of chemical compounds that consist of a carboxylic acid substituted with a hydroxyl group on the adjacent carbon. They may be either naturally occurring or synthetic. AHAs are well-known for their use in the cosmetics industry. They are often found in products claiming to reduce wrinkles or the signs of aging, and improve the overall look and feel of the skin

3.       Retinol - Retinol ( the purest form of vitamin A which renews skin fibres ) and hyaluronic acid. Retinol skin care products  may help to decrease the number and depth of lines and wrinkles and to help prevent dryness by increasing the level of natural oils in the skin. Retinol skin care products have also been found to benefit those who suffer from chronic cystic acne by improving the appearance of the skin

4.       Retinol Boosters - Pond's patented Retinol Boosters is recommended by many dermatologists as a safe and effective way to increase the efficacy of Retinol while prolonging its lifespan

This product also comes with SPF PA++. I know about the SPF but PA confused me a bit. Little bit of more research and here is what I got.
  • SPF (Sun protection Factor) shows protection against UVB rays, the rays causing sunburn. A higher number equals higher protection.
  • PA shows protection against UVA rays. the rays causing photo-aging. PA is rated by +, ++, and +++, with +++ offering greatest protection.
  • The SPF and PA are indicated in accordance with the regulations in each country.

Finally My take on the positives and negatives of this product

Positives

1.       It has evened out my skin tone.
2.       Pimple marks are visibly reduced.
3.       I had no wrinkles so can’t comment on that but yes it brightened the overall complexion.
4.       It comes with SPF 15 PA++.
5.       Very little amount is enough to cover neck and face so it goes long way
6.       Dermatologic ally Tested
7.       Non Comedogenic

Negatives

1.   I feel they could have higher value for sun protection.
2.    It comes in form of tub, a dispenser could have been more hygienic, I just don’t like idea of putting finger in each time I take out the cream.
3.    It might cause little bit of gressiness to the skins which are on the oilier side, especially in peak summers.

Will I Repurchase – Well I am into the second tub already, until I find a product better than this, I am sticked to it.

In the end, I would like to add that though results may differ from person to person, I have tried to review it from all angles, Hope this works out well for all you lovely Ladies out there!!!

Keep Glowing :)
