End Of Mae by Angela Yuriko Smith - Book Review

End Of Mae is a paranormal fiction that comes from the desk of renowned writer Angela Yuriko Smith. Set in the backdrop of New Jersey,  End Of Mae is inspired by Jersey Devil sightings.

It’s the story of a journalist who though likes her job but also wants to broaden her horizon and for that  she is relentlessly hunting for fodder that makes for an exciting story which could make big publication houses come to her …... but in her endeavors little did she know the ultimate story would be her own… and she’d be dying to tell it.

Mae is the protagonist of the story, one can’t help but sympathize with her for her sufferings and situations that she has led herself into and on the other the hand, the dark character Heylel is one unconventional villain, and at times is too tempting to hate, the feeling hangs in-between, changing loyalties as the story progresses...

The story has a gripping plot and a creepy edge to it which won’t let you put it down before a full read.  Author’s finesse of handling the subject is well evident in her writing which makes you picture the whole sequence.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading End Of Mae and it has only increased my appetite  :)…Now I want to know more on what happens” after the End Of Mae”, n  how she accepts her new found entity… Perhaps a sequel would do ;)

I recommend it and rate it 4 on scale of 5
